I did a re-draw of an old Merunyaa piece for Jezza and Ryhn! with an updated/post-transition version of Jezza!~ 🥰
If it weren’t for Meru’s art, I 100% wouldn’t be doing art myself – so getting to work on this felt like things have kinda come full circle! Hope you like it c:
I really wish meru wasnt pushed into the mainstream and was still allowed to do their diaper stuff, but it’s awesome to see people still inspired by it!

Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but didn’t she choose to stop doing fetish art to focus on drawing whatever she felt like and growing her reach as an artist? As much as I miss Meru’s art, it’s pretty understandable she’d wanna have more freedom with what she draws and also not have a fetish ball-and-chain weighing down her potential to get commissioned by people who would see diaper art and insta-nope out of wanting to support her.

This is the right take, unfortunately. It’s understandable why she moved on, she wasn’t even personally into abdl, so it wouldn’t have been a loss to her like it would be for me to do a similar maneuver. She left behind a massive trove of incredible abdl art for people that looked hard enough/had the foresight to save it, and then went to go get her bag – more power to her~
